Professional Teeth Whitening Strips

The strips are made of thin, transparent, flexible pieces of plastic (polyethylene), which have been coated on one side with a thin layer that does not contain hydrogen peroxide, in accordance with EU legislation. This layer works both as a whitening agent and as an adhesive that will stick the strips to the teeth. The strips contain the same whitening agent used by dentists in their offices, and in the whitening process they do not affect the enamel!

How are whitening strips used?

  • SHINE® professional teeth whitening strips are extremely simple to use!
  • The tape for the upper teeth is peeled off.
  • It is positioned over the teeth, without covering the gum, and then pressed gently with your fingers to perfectly mold to the tooth surface.
  • The excess tape folds over the inside of the tooth.
  • Repeat for the strip intended for the lower teeth.
  • After 30 minutes, the strip easily peels off the teeth and is discarded.

Other information that we consider very important for the treatment to be successful!

It is very important to respect the recommended application period of the strips and not to keep them on the teeth longer, because this will not lead to stronger whitening of the teeth, but on the contrary, it could create sensitivity. Also, before applying the strips, the teeth should not be brushed with toothpaste, because this will cancel their effect.

Before application, the teeth are cleaned with a toothbrush, water and dental floss. After removing the strips, you should brush with toothpaste to remove the remaining gel on the teeth. If sensitivity occurs, although it is very unlikely, we recommend that you take a break for a day and then resume the treatment. They will disappear completely after the end of the treatment.
